I started to work on a new chapter in quant .... Profit and loss .... mixtures ...DI etc ..... and was not able to get the head or tail of it ..... i mean i understood things like
Selling Price - cost price = profit
cost price - selling price = loss
% Profit = Profit/Cost Price*100, viz = Selling Price-cost price/ cost price * 100
Marked price- Discount= cost price
etc
But but but am stuck again in application ... guess I will need some amount of professional help here .... so what does lil Gau do when he gets confused .... he moves on .... so now I have started wrestling with Geometry ... which is like one part of math that I really love .... all thanks to the interest I took in the subject in 9 th grade .... I used to sit with my geometry book during physical education classes and ya I did get penalized for that .... had to kneel down for one bright sunny hour.... so now I have moved on to Geometry ... I have revised things like Different types of triangles .... sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees ... and how for any other polygon the sum of interior angles is ........ (n-2)180...... where n is the number of sides... cool na .... and ya what are the different types of polygons till the polygon having 8 sides ......
3 sides ----- Good ol TRIANGLE
4 sides ----- QUADRILATERAL
5 sides ----- PENTAGON
6 sides ----- HEXAGON
7 sides ----- SEPTAGON/HEPTAGON
8 sides ----- OCTAGON
..... there ..... am stll wondering why are they not named in plain straight simple english ..... something like fourangle, fiveangle, sixangle, kurtangle .... no not kurt angle ..... but like the other three ... ok chuck it ..... so here I am studying geometry a little bit of it at least .... have to reach home soon today as it is my grand mom's death anniversary .... and mom will be waiting for me to keep the plate full of grand mom's favorite dishes pointing towards the north and pray for her ..... so that's all for today ... and ya i still have to do some research on those rules of grammar ..... ciao
